Training course project “Rural Business Innovation Hub” in Romania
A training course on how to start a business, especially in the rural area. Where young people can find resources, financing and possible partners. In this training you’ll find out how to build a business HUB in rural areas for young people.
Date: 29 March – 2 April 2023
Location: Targu Jiu, Romania
Participating countries: Slovenia, Romania, Portugal, Croatia, Slovakia
Food and accommodation are provided by the organisers in Romania.
Participant profile:
– Age: 18+
– Occupation: youth workers, volunteer coordinators; mentors (incl. mentors to EVS / ESC volunteers); teachers; active volunteers; students.
– Good understanding of English.
– Strongly motivated to participate.
– To be present throughout the training.
About the project:
With the “Rural Business Innovation Hub” Project, we aim to build and foster entrepreneurship competences among young people from rural areas, starting from an entrepreneurial attitude, and apply it to solutions to today’s society challenges.
Though this project we want to:
Increase entrepreneurial competencies among youth.
Encourage the development rural communities for better living.
Create awareness about entrepreneurial literacy.
Document the utility of a Business Innovation HUB in expanding opportunities.
Spark the creativity of young people from rural areas and encourage them.
