As with all good things, there comes a time when they must come to an end. We are sad to announce the end of our project “De la om la om”, which aimed to give voice to those who face barriers in their community. The podcast series, which consisted of 12 episodes, was a journey of learning, reflection, and advocacy. We hope that it has fulfilled its purpose in highlighting the challenges faced by people experiencing difficulties.

Throughout the project, we heard from individuals who were facing a variety of challenges. Some of the people who spoke on the podcast shared their experiences of living with autism, gambling problems, diabetes, and being part of a minority. Their stories were not only inspiring but also helped to shed light on the difficulties that people with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and from minority backgrounds face on a daily basis.

The podcast aimed to be a platform for people to share their experiences and raise awareness of the challenges they face. We believe that we were able to achieve this through the different episodes that we released. We covered topics such as mental health, accessibility, and inclusion, which are essential to creating a more equitable society.

We would like to thank our listeners, who followed this journey and shared their feedback and ideas with us. The podcast had a Facebook page and a website where people could listen to the episodes.

While the project has come to an end, we hope that the conversations it sparked will continue. We urge everyone to continue to listen to those who face barriers in their communities and to do what they can to help create a more inclusive society. We are grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of this project, and we hope that it has made a positive impact on the lives of those who participated and those who listened.

The project was co-funded through the European Solidarity Corps program.
