We have started the project “Mobile Program for Young Learners”. The project is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme.
The main objective of the project is to develop a curriculum to work with young professionals to develop young people’s leadership skills, self-confidence, self-motivation, to take responsibility in order to teach/lead next youth leaders, as well as to strengthen a sense of belonging in young people in social communities.
In cooperation with the project partners, a 39-hour curriculum with teaching materials and a thematic plan will be created not only to be developed but also tested to make sure that its suitability for the purpose.
The curriculum is intended for young people aged 13 to 15. The content of training for the development of adolescents’ personal and social skills will be based on Christian core values, which include love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, kindness, trust, tenderness and self-control, and are an integral part of human personality development.
The curriculum will serve to support educators and other professionals working with young people in areas such as education, religion, culture and more. It will be freely available in the digital environment in Latvian, Spanish, Romanian and English.
The project team will ensure this through a one-year mobile training program developing lifelong key competences (Literacy, Language, Personal, Social and Learning, Cultural Awareness and Expression).
The project is implemented in partnership by KRIMULDAS EVANGELISKI LUTERISKA DRAUDZE and Colegio San Gabriel.
