In the period 01.01.2022 – 01.01.2024, the Scout Society Association implemented the strategic partnership project “Rural Business Innovation Hub” together with partners from Slovenia (SMART IDEA Igor Razbornik s.p. and Better Future, business consultancy, Ksenija Strazisnik s.p.), Portugal (JumpIN Hub – Associação para a Inovação e Empreendedorismo), Croatia (MP Enterprise d.o.o.), Slovakia (YOUTHFULLY YOURS SK).
The project helped to address the lack of entrepreneurship education in rural areas. The aim of this project was to build and promote entrepreneurial skills among young people in rural areas, starting from an entrepreneurial attitude applied to the solutions of today’s societal challenges.
During the project, there were several meetings where representatives of partner organisations participated. During these meetings all aspects of the project implementation and the project results were discussed.
The project website was created, which contains a collection of best practices for successful rural business development and related information, educational content for youth entrepreneurship and The Digital Hub, a dynamic platform designed to provide easy access to online resources for young people in rural areas.
It can be accessed at
“The Rural Business Innovation Hub emerged from the need to encourage entrepreneurship in rural areas due to the difficulties faced by village communities.
The project is co-funded by the European Union.
